About the Project

A two stage approach will be employed in this research project – with the results of the first stage feeding into the second. The first stage will look at where industry is at present – including how all parties see the current situation. The second stage will implement an existing or emerging digital traceability solution that addresses the issues uncovered by the first stage of research. The findings will then allow the use of surveys to create a model for the ongoing implementation of digital traceability solutions in the cold chain, with particular focus on integrating this traceability solution with existing models of microbial growth.
