Research and Adoption Committee

The "RAC"

The Research and Adoption Committee (RAC) provides advice to the Managing Director on matters relating to implementation of research and adoption and to assist in the development of high quality projects. It is not an approval or governance committee.

The RAC also guides the development and management of the Cooperative Research Centre's programs and projects to ensure they meet end-user needs, provide recommendations to the Managing Director on how projects and programs can be improved to better meet the Centre's outcomes and end-user needs.

It also monitors and evaluates program performance to ensure they meet the Cooperative Research Centre's objectives and members provide feedback to Program Managers on the performance of their programs.

The RAC is also a forum for the Fisheries Research and Development Corporation to provide technical input into projects and to advise on likely level of co-investment by the Fisheries Research and Development in each project.

Members of the Research and Adoption Commitee

The Committee consists of the Centre's staff, the Fisheries Research and Development Corporation staff and invited guests.
